Motherboard from the bay

Looks alright.

It's quite possible his CPU/system was booting/working with the pins bent like they were.

Bending pins back is easier than people think providing they have a fixed magnifying glass and stanley knife blade! There is the odd chance the pin it'll just snap off when you try to move it but let's not think dark thoughts :p

Above scenario is plausible but I think the lack of Cpu cover is the cause of it. Didn't even have magnifying glass haha.

it will either boot up or wont

other thing to look for is the full amount of memory in the bios,if its showing full amount then your good to go

Personally I'd just return it. I don't buy something in working condition only to have to repair it after it arrives. If something else goes wrong a bit later down the line as a result of the way it was packaged it'll be much harder to prove.

you'll be ok imo

if it works great if not you can still return it as faulty,it looked an easy fix otherwise I wouldn't have suggested it

It lives!
Current setup before I move to my apartment and get some watercooling done.

Tested out the on board audio, everything's good.
Bios reads 8gb, will test out the other ram slots.
Need to test out 2nd pcie lane.
What other tests 2ould you recommend?

you will be ok aslong as it detects all the memory in the bios, bent pins can cause you to lose some

it shouldn't affect anything else
