I've just bought myself the parts for a new PC including the Asus P8P67 and the TJ07 case.

the front panel of the case has a few USB ports and audio connections, i have figured out when the audio goes but with the USB connections they're just a single pin and 4 grouped pins to plug in to the motherboard. (see pic below)

what i don't quite understand is where the shield would go on the second connection as there is only one 'NC' pin to connect to these? (see pic below)

do i just plug one of the connector pins labelled 'Shield' into the 'NC' pin and leave the other out? doesn't seem right to me.

Just leave the "shield" connection.

Never seen it before on any case I've used.

Edit

Found this:

On occasion, there is a 5th pin. This 5th pin is used for Shielding purposes and is rarely used. If used, Shield should be connected to Ground at the host only. No USB device should connect Shield to Ground.

Just leave it.
