Motherboard Had it?

Okay so i built the missus a PC, Nothing special just your average standard pc so she can do work/browsing etc, The problem is when i went to boot it said 'Disc Bggt Faadure Insert System Disc And Press Efter' This baffled me instantly because it's usually english, Nothings set to anything out of the ordinary. Everything is new except the motherboard, Never had problems with it before, I've tried formatting it with a legit copy of windows XP Home SP2, Tried several hard drives (Working on other computers), I've got it to boot the CD and as soon as you try to format, Or Repair, It instantly says 'Hard Drive Not Found Please Reboot and try again'
Anyone got any ideas what the problem could be? System is as follows: Winfast 6150M2MA AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200 2G Ram, 200G IDE Hard drive.
 
Also tried several IDE Cables, Keeps coming up with half english and half some language that appears to look german, Can't make out what's up with it just says it can't pick up the hard drive properly or something, I've tried 2 HHD that work in my system, But it's picking it up in the bios
 
Well I've just tried another one of my hard drives, And it seems to of picked it up, Consistently getting blue screens though now, Won't boot into safe mode either.
 
Well i've finally got it to pick up the HDD and CD Rom and now is formatting, No idea if it's going to go through if it doesn't i'll take the mobo back, Guess this'll teach me for buying cheap crap aye :(
