Motherboard issue?

Hi, I have an X-99 Deluxe V1 and have had an issue since late 2014 using it in a build where my keyboard and/or mouse RGB's will light up or remain lit prior to the PC being turned on or after turned off.
They are also often undetected, with the occasional error message stating this, requiring me to manually unplug and replug them in.

I have the system connected to a wall socket via a surge protected extension and again, when with sockets switched on but not the PC, the issue occurs sporadically.

I've been in touch with Asus support and was told to enter AMP and adjust the ErP from the disabled option to either S4+S5 enabled or just S5. I'm not sure if this has worked as of yet, could it be another issue, perhaps with the motherboard itself?

I am also experiencing an issue upon boot occasionally where the PC will restart itself and display an error message stating an anti-surge error has occurred with the power supply (SuperFlower Leadex 1000W Platinum),I've been in touch with OcUK and they have issued me an RMA for a replacement, could this be anything else? as I've heard that the X99 Deluxe can be quite 'trigger happy' regarding this error according to posts by members on other forums.

Any feedback would be really appreciated, having a bit of a nightmare with this and need to get it sorted. Thankyou
