Morning Guys,

Looking for some help before I take a hammer to this computer >.<

I have a asus P6X58D-E motherboard and I am getting a "Not plugged in" error on my speakers, mic line in etc. I have the correct drivers installed and the optical output(digital) is working.

I have the correct drivers from the asus site and I have also used the correct ones from the realtek website, but im on the verge of smashing it up now can anyone help me!

Thank You

Dickie

Try the front panel ports (assuming you have some), randomly on a few versions of the realtek, by connecting the front panel ports it stops the rear ports working.
