so yesterday turned on my computer and was running very very slow looked on cpuz and my cpu was only running at 0.78ghz so checked the bios and bios says cpu temp 100c but coretemps only said between 28 and 31c per core
looks like the cpu is running fine but the mother board thinks it 100c so trottleing cpu

intel processor diagnostic tool is always a good one to check with too. If unstable that will report an error. Comes in 64bit and 32bit so run the right one for your OS.

I'd contact the motherboard manufacturers support, as it might be a known issue and/or it might be an RMA job?

spoke to overclockers today about it they want my to take it to a pc repair shop to see whats wrong with it but don't see that is my responsibly its a msi board so has 3 year warranty

the thermal sensor is gone on the board instructing the cpu to downthrottle.

you need to post the full details that you have tried as we discussed in teamspeak.. also that's in OCUK mobo cpu package that's still under manufacturer warranty...

and,,, post the email that you had from overclockers telling u to take to a computer shop! Also post in the customer service section instead of emailing them

How long have you had it?

I'd also try and query MSI support and/or support forums direct, in case it's a known (end user resolvable) issue.
