Motherboard or cpu not working?

Got an issue with a pc - ryzen 220g and an A320M board, the cpu fan spins but nothing after that - not post beep , case fan revs up and down. tried my own ram and still does it . Any ideas?

Possibly need a bios update to run the CPU, what's the model of A320?

Was there a sticker on the motherboard box saying ryzen 2000 support or something along those lines?

Didnt come with a sticker or box, but assured it had the latest bios on.

A Ryzen 2200g is actually a first gen Ryzen 14nm so should work out of the box on that board, you either have a dead CPU or a dead motherboard.

While you would think that the original bios was F1 while the 2200G has F10 bios listed for compatibility.

How old is the CPU, was it new to you recently or did it just not work one day?

Ok so got the pc here at mine - changed psu for a known good one still turned off. changed ram for good ones (mine from my won rig) turned off

so either motherboard or cpu

Could buy a cpu try it then return within 14 days.
