Motherboard overkill

Hi

I am building my first gaming rig and think I might be over killing it on the motherboard but not sure

planing to get an Asus Z87-PRO Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard (£147)

I picked this as it supports SLI, has onbord wifi, over clocking, plenty of fans and has usb3 headers.

Is this overkill and there a better way to go about this?

Thanks

Thanks

I have been looking at other boards and using a WiFi card rather than on board but kept ending up more expensive. Thought I might have been missing somthing

^ I'd go for the D3H, or even the G1 Sniper Z87. Both excellent boards. I'd also get just a normal WiFi dongle instead of a card.
