Hi guys,

I was just setting up a system that im trying to build. One of the problems that im facing is that I cant seem to figure out which wire from my Corsair Builder Series CXM 600W Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX/EPS PSU is supposed to go in the motherboard which is a Gigabyte Z77N-WIFI Motherboard (SKT 1155, Mini-ITX).

The wire labelled CPU doesnt seem like it will fit in the motherboard. Would appreciate your help here.

That PSU comes with a 4/8 pin CPU connectors. Which either means it'll have a cable with an 8 pin on and one with a 4 pin on, or it is an 8 pin and 2 x 4 pin like this:

And it plugs in here:

As above, that cable will split into 2x4pin. Then it'll plug into the 4pin CPU/EPS port next to the motherboard northbridge heatsink.

Thanks a lot Doomedspeed! I managed to split it and get it in comfortably. There was a crease down the middle which middle is split rather simply.

Ive put the system together but nothing is showing up on the monitor. The video card has power the HDD lights are flickering but I don't have any options showing up on the screen. Any Idea what I can do to check if anything is missing?

I'm using a Benq 2411t monitor which is connected to the HDMI port on the motherboard.

You may want to remove the tags as it's a little large :D

Try putting your monitor into your graphics card as a post above said.

uzairzaldi please resize your image above or use the Spoiler tags :)

(Spolier tage are in advanced edit)

If you can't get video from the card try the onboard, if this works then more than likely you need to choose pcie as the default graphics in the BIOS on boot instead of the onboard.

Alright guys I managed to reconnect everything one by one and it turns out that it's the hard drive that wasn't allowing me to load up the system. The system has finally started but another dilemma im facing is that my keyboard stops working in the BIOS screen.

I have the USB bootable drive in and the keyboard as well. When I get to the black screen asking me to put in a bootable disk and press a key nothing happens when I press a key. If I restart and go to the bios menu it doesn't let me access any of the menus as my keyboard suddenly stops working.
