Motherboard reporting wrong RAM speed

Hi,

My motherboard is a GA-P35C-DS3R @ Bios version F12-E.. Ive put in some OCZ 8500 ram and my motherboard will often say its only running at 800 instead of the default 1066 and sometimes it will report the right speed (more often it says 800)

I was just wondering if its something to worry about as I keep going through ram like its nothing lately, with sticks being faulty..

You may need to manualy adjust the speed, voltage & timmings in the BIOS.

For anything above 800 you normally have to manually set the speed and timings within the BIOS.
