motherboard spec

You don't really need to spend over £130 on an excellent Z97 board. Overclocking limitations on normal cooling these days are with the CPU, not the motherboard

You no longer have to spend a fortune on a motherboard to overclock. With Haswell it's all about the cpu. I can overclock my 4670k on my wifes Gigabyte B85M-D3H which cost less than £50 to exactly the same speed with the same settings as my Hero. All you really need to do is change the multiplier, vcore, LLC and maybe a bit of extra cpu input voltage. Take a look at these:-

YOUR BASKET
1 x Asus Z97 Pro Gamer Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard £107.99
1 x Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 5 Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard £104.99
1 x Gigabyte Z97X-SLI Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard £89.99

I see no reason to spend anymore than that.

For me the Gigabyte OC force is the best option and over clocker in this price bracket. Its also very efficient with memory and great in 3D.

The Hero looks great but is not a true overclockers board like the Gene or the Impact or the Formula.
