Motherboard stand-offs lian li pc71

Hi

bit of a stupid one this. Got this case second hand and have these tall stand offs that I presume you screw the brass stand off bits into. Done this and fitted them into correct holes in the case but it all seems too high; the m/board is too high for the motherboard face-plate.

Please could someone tell me the correct way to do this - and also whether this is earthing the board or do i need to be doing something else for that?

Help much appreciated.

you dont screw the brass standoffs into the little things. you just put the mobo onto them

The standoffs are used on quite a few cases, just on its own is fine and it serves exactly the same purpose as the brass ones, just is a more classy way of doing it back then

earthed by the standoffs and by the psu also.

Many thanks for replies and help. Am slightly worried about relying on those two pronged stand-offs thingies though as a few seem a bit loose - is there anywhere (cheap) I could get a few better ones?
