Motherboard support for quad core

Hi,
I fairly recently bought the following from ocuk:
£103.99 x 1 - Asus P5B Deluxe (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
£149.99 x 1 - Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - Retail

I wondered whether the new Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient 95W would work on the P5B Deluxe? Worth doing?

The quad will fit on P5B but not worth the upgrade IMO.

Personally i wouldnt bother.
