Motherboard temperature acceptable ?

I've put a machine together with the Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe. I've put in two sticks of Corsair XMS3500LL. . Funds are a little limited so I have put in a Leadtek 6800GT temporarily and an Athlon 3500+ CPU, though this has a Zalman CNPS9500.


I've overclocked the memory in the Bios and it is stable and nice and cool (39 C and not yet burnt in).


I've used Coolbits to overclock the Graphics card. I let it detect its own optimal settings.


I'm using Asus Probe II to monitor things.


The Motherboard temperature is raising an alarm as it hits the default alert temperature of 45 C. It is rising to low to mid 50's C under load.


Is this anything to be concerned about ? I'm not certain where the monitor is being monitored on the MB, so info on that would be appreciated.


What are reasonable threshold settings to set for the MB and the memory.

Id say it should be fine, just raise the alarm setting from 45 up to about 60, as long as it never gets that high underload it should be fine, my old board used to idle in the 50's, but never got above 60 and was perfectly fine.
