Hi, I have recently seen a motherboad I would like as part of my AM3 build on a well known auction site.
The seller claims it is an unwanted return from a company which they liquidated and took ownership of the stock.
Is there any way of testing a motherboad without the processor and RAM installed ? as this will be the first part of my build I will have purchased and I'm not sure how long it will take to assemble the rest.
The seller claims it was fully tested by the previous company before they took ownership of it but I want to test it myself so if there is a problem I can return it within 28 days.
The model is an Asus M4A79XTD Evo if that makes any difference. Cheers
