Hey all,
I recently purchased a new build.
It's not particularly high performance, it will only be used for email, word processing, and surfing.
I installed all the components into the case and turned the system on but I couldn't get anything to display on the monitor. (At this moment the system was connected from the motherboard to the monitor via HDMI)
I then unplugged the HDMI from the motherboard and into the graphics card and the BIOS screen came up on the monitor when i restarted the machine!
I then went through the process of installing the operating system. I had to unplug the HDMI cable to use else where and when I plugged it back in nothing is appearing on the monitor??
I've tried everything I can think of but I can't get any output on the monitor anymore, tried a VGA cable to the motherboard and the graphics card and nothing appears.
All I can think at this point is possibly a faulty motherboard?? But I did get a display.
All help much appreciated.
