Last night myself and a friend flashed the bios on a z77a-gd65 board to the newest bios so he can upgrade from and sandy i3 to ivy i7.
But now the mother board is stuck in a uefi loop(if that's the right words).

no matter what we do the mother board posts shows all the spec's then just says no shell path found.

it will not boot into the old OS, it will not boot to a Windows disc. biso as been reset and nothing changed, is there a setting i am missing in bios. all the win8 features are off and all the uefi options i can find are disabled

when i press F10 or F8 to pick a boot drive they are all listed as UEFI.

Yep thats sorted it, 10.8 ok, 10.10ok, 10.11 back in the loop

on 10.8 there is limited UEFI options, on 10.10 there is all the UEFI options, on 10.11 there is just UEFI and limited legacy options. MSI must have down 10.11 for windown 8 only

Any way thanks :D
