Motherboard Update

Hi, how do I update my motherboard?

Its an Asus A8N-E. Ive looked on their website and there are several downloads, but I am not sure which one to download, or how to proceed with the update. Ive never updated since Ive had it (Dec05). Any help would be appreciated cheers.

Do you mean update the bios? If its running fine then its not worth it really. Its very unlikely you will gain any kind of performance boost.

You can update it from within windows with an app called Asus Update. Its on the download site under utilities/bios probably, http://support.asus.com
