Hi everyone, I have a problem with one of the antenna connectors of my motherboard, in practice, going to screw the antenna it broke off
from the network card. The motherboard is an Asrock z390 I and is equipped with an Intel network card (I don't think it makes much difference)

as you can see it is as disconnected and now the wifi is bad, also if I use the bluetooth the wifi signal disappears completely, is there any way to repair the damage or maybe replace the connector?

Whilst it is possible to buy connectors, I'm not sure how easy they would be to fit (or if the even can). I always imagined you could unscrew them to replace them but I'm not sure that would work.

It might be easier for you to buy a wireless card and plug it into an expansion slot instead?

Pardon?

I have a ITX mobo so I cannot buy any expansion card

ah ok

well I don't think the wireless card is broken, only the connector, online you can find replacement I'm wondering if any of you had an experience like this or know how to fix it

Don't think thats going to be an easy fix mite have to try a usb adapter.

Probably this, or an RJ45 to Wireless adapter (Haven't used them though, so no idea how well they work).
Alternatively, if you can't fix, you might resort to Powerline adapters

You're probably right, and it does look as though you could remove the connector with a spanner/wrench. You might be able to remove it and attach a new one but I've never done something like that before so can only offer my two cents

Take the old one off, and buy 2X IPEX MHF4 to RP-SMA Antenna Pigtail For NGFF/M.2 WIFI Card, about £3 for a set of two.

Thanks I appreciate it

I believe this is what I was looking for have you got any recommended one?

I'd take it off the board and have a look at the cable length then buy one that is close to that, eBay etc. will have what you are looking for. If you don't know how to dismantle it, the it is a couple of screw in the bottom of the motherboard and the whole housing will come off (remove the external antenna's first) them you can pop the cover off and see the little M.2 card inside and see the cables.

Thanks I think this is the right solution. Thanks a lot

It seams like the nut is undone
Take off the antena
Do your best not to twist the cable as it will brake
And tighten the nut
The above product is exactly what you have on your motherboard
