I've randomly just started having a problem with my Asus P8P67. When I switch my computer on, I don't hear a bleep sound and nothing appears on my monitor, the computer is running and sounds like it's loading Windows but nothing happens. So then I have to switch the computer off and on again, this time it loads and appears on screen but then I get an "overclocking failed" screen, where I have to press F1, go into the BIOS and "save and restart", finally after this happens Windows 7 loads.

Is there a reason why this is happning everytime and is there a way to fix it?

I did used to have this problem before, then I changed BIOS versions and it fixed it, but now I don't know what else I can do so would appreciate some help please

My BIOS version is 1204 right now.

Reset the CMOS and then load optimized defaults.

I would then run the sytsem at stcok speeds for a while to see if it replicates the same problem - also stress test it at stock and look out for the obvious.

If things seem to be ok - gradually introduce your clock again.

Additional: Did you manually set your clock? (If you didn't i would recommend doing this - if you did then it may be that you may need to refine some of your inputs. Although, a 4GHz clock should be easily achieved with a 2500K.)
