Hey im looking at two motherboards but not really sure what will be best

i will be using a fx 8320 and a 280x or 290

The ASUS you linked to has 4+2 power phases.

The Gigabyte is 8+2, the Asus Evo is 6+2+2

You need quality power circuitry and good cooling on the VRMs for these eight core AMD CPUs.

or i could go b grade and get Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 and cheaper then the asus evo

Yes you can.

There are a few revisions of the UD3, would be great if you can get one of the newer ones with redesigned cooling.

Sure, it is also Gigabyte so you have the 90day OcUK warranty, and the Gigabyte excellent service should there be an issue.
