Is 8Gb the maximum memory (DDR2) that Gigabyte P35CDS3R Rev2 can work with, or could I boost it by using the DDR3 at the same time ? As wonder if I get Vista 64 would there be any performance increase ?

Cheers

For those that missed them in the old DOS days (*sniff*) wiki does a reasonable job here

Bottom line, you set up 4Gb(or more) as a RAMDisk, then image whatever game you're playing onto it - it's becoming harder as new games are so darn big - but that will be solved when we all go to Triple-channel DDR3 in 6 banks at 4Gb a pop (24Gb of RAM .....ooooooooooooo.....)

Certainly get you into BF2 1st - worth it just to steal the Cobra!
