lol i have just had a really big mouth land on my moniter , i thought it was a bat...its atleast 7 cm long ....anyone else seen noticed this

Had one come into work last week, I trapped it under a coffee cup and it's wingspan was wider then the top of the cup :eek:

no it just apeared and landed on the moniter,i jumped back because it **** me up

you know those old ball mouses in schools and stuff , it was about as big as that or abit smaller , never seen anything like it.

It's just unfortunate I have slight fear/phobia of flying things...

Yes, I have seen this several times before. They can get very, very large. Can't hurt you though. Doesn't bother me, always loved moths. The one you saw might have been a 'Hawk' moth.

ive noticed the seasons moving forward but i truly cant say ive noticed moths getting bigger annually.

Definitely noticed this! They're definitely getting bigger...

I had one in my kitchen a couple of weeks ago - it must have been as big as my thumb!

I shut the door and asked Facebook how to deal with it

A girl then said that hair spray is the way to go - I went downstair, hair spray in hand, and searched out the huge beast

To cut a long story short - I sprayed it's mothy ass and then smacked it with my boot
