Right just though i would post this up, im going to the moto gp on saturday, not sure about sunday yet.

Just wondered who else is going and if anyone wanted to meet up?

though it would be nice if there are a few of us going to have a little mini meet or something.
 
Would love to but the wife booked us up for a weekend at centre-parcs without checking the MotoGP calendar. She's not amused I'm staying in the Villa most of sunday :D
 
I would forget a meetup on Sunday, I can only advise you on how busy it was last year....rammed from corner to corner at Donington.

If you want photos, go Friday practice or Saturday morning I would suggest.

Unfortunately I'll not be heading down this year, but enjoy anyway. It's the F1 of Motorbikes after all.

would have liked to of gone to the practice but afraid I can't make it :(


Off on a stag doo next weekend so the mrs says I can't go anywhere . :o

well, im going to be there bright and early saturday morning, so will have to see how it goes. Im thinking the 2 best places to take pics from will be inside of the first corner (redgate) and down by the sparkplug.

Anyone got and more/better suggestions to add to that??
 
I'm going Sunday but agree about the meet-up being inpractical on race-day. I'm planning on put my towel down at the Old Hairpin. Looking up at the Craner Curves and getting a good view of them sweeping around the Old Hairpin. :)

I'm also planning on going there on the Bike - not sure where I'm gonna carry all my gear yet... :eek:

Are you looking to be on the inside or the outside of the track mate, im assuming for best photo opps then the inside for sure.

Nah - the outside and focus through the fence....

It's only an idea at the moment - I may get there and spot somewhere better...
 
Anyone else going at all, surely there isnt just me and madmaca going to such a big event??!!
