MotoGP 2013

Espargaro has sighed for Yamaha already where does that leave cal? or would it be a yam engine in Espargaro's own frame
rossi\lorenzo n smith have 2 year deals, cal has just this year
cant see Yamaha running a 3rd bike in works team or tech 3

If Cal keeps beating Bradl convincingly then he might look to a Works Honda bike if Honda don't think Bradl is doing the business. I doubt that either Honda or Yamaha would want to let him go. I guess Suzuki is a wild option too though.

Bye bye motogp, no way am I switching my broadband to BT!

The five-year agreement will see MotoGP as premium programming in the thrilling line-up of top sports on the new BT Sport channels. Motorcycle racing’s premier Championship will be part of this exciting new venture and will join other headline properties such as the Barclays Premier League and Aviva Premiership Rugby.

Is the BT Sports channel only available to BT Vision customers?

Information is sketchy but this is what is being reported at the moment -

It will be free to existing BT Broadband customers and £15 a month via
either the BT Youview box or Sky Digibox to those who aren't customers.

This is going to absolutely kill the viewing figures, I guess dorna would rather take the money than worry about anyone actually watching.

As with F1 though, how much of the Global market does the UK TV audience actually make up?

It says free to BT BB customers, but the BT Sport 1 channel is not on Sky or Virgin or Freeview, so I assume its only free to BT BB customers who have BT Vision as well. Just having a BT BB line on its own won't be enough?

From what I have read the UK TV motogp audience was actually pretty big and dorna themselves had put money into getting british riders on the grid, Its also reported that if you have BT broadband but not vision you can watch it over the internet free but again information is still scarce at the moment on the exact requirements.

Seem quite clear to me? Directly from BT.com/Sport (because I'm nice like that so you don't have to go and find it yourself)

On Sky Digital Satellite Platform

If you have a satellite receiver box and viewing card, you can easily take BT Sport from us. You don't need to be a BT customer - but if you have our broadband, it's free. And it's only available direct from BT. Order now for free HD for a year. ( so if you have BT Broadband, it's free regardless of how you access it)

On BT TV with BT Infinity

Get live sport in your living room with a BT TV and BT Infinity package. Order now for free HD for a year.

On our app or online player

Stream the action to your PC or Mac, or use the BT Sport app to watch it on your tablet or smartphone.

So it is available on Sky TV? have I just missed it in the planner somewhere then?

Edit: oh yeah, there they are, 413 and 414.

What is n't clear is if motogp will be on ESPN as BT operate that channel in the UK or if it will just be on BT sport 1+2.

You have to pay an extra 15ppm to use those channels.

Thats normal though, just like ESPN or the football club channels.

What is n't clear is if motogp will be on ESPN as BT operate that channel in the UK or if it will just be on BT sport 1+2.

The press release says BT Sport has "exclusive rights" to it, so I would assume it will be on the BT Sport channel, not ESPN.

Sounds like you'll have to insert a BT card into your satellite box. For people on Sky that would mean removing the sky card. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You normally just pay the additional subscription and it gets activated against your existing sky card.

As much as we love the ginger kid, i can't believe they would keep Bradley over Cal even if he has got a two year contract!!!
