MotoGP 2016

Rossi wins by less than 3 seconds and everyone is lauding him. Lorenzo wins by over 10 seconds and it's silent.

There was quite a lot of talk about Petrucci joining the factory team along side Lorenzo next year. I'd like to see this, Dovi isn't good enough and although Iannone is quick, he keeps binning it. I'm sure Lorenzo would prefer Dovi as a team mate though, after sharing a team with Rossi.

I'd like to see Honda put someone else on Dani's bike too. He's been a good No. 2 rider, but he's never going to win the championship and right now he doesn't even look like he's ever going to even be able to challenge for wins regularly.

Lorenzo was unbeatable on Sunday. When he's on that sort of form there isn't a rider on the grid that can beat him.

I'm amazed that Petrucci finished that race considering how messed up his hand still is. I'd also like to see Petrucci team up with Lorenzo at Ducati.

It's time for HRC to ditch Dani. Dani to Yamaha though? Nah, I can't see it.

Any bets on where Crutchlow will be next year? I don't think it'll be on a MotoGP ride.

It'll be Vinales on a long term deal. If they signed Dani it'll be short term because Vinales decided to stay with Suzuki.

I read that Livio wanted Cal to stay with LCR, this was when he was quizzed on Cal moving to HRC team.

No point in him moving back to WSBK as there wouldn't be a bike available that would be a championship contender unless something changes for next year.

Lets be honest. Cal Crashlow is crap. No point being fast, if you can't stay on the bike. Not like he's a rookie now, he's been around long enough to have it sorted. But he can't. I can't see any major ride/team wanting him after his disastrous start to 2016.

Agreed entirely. I wouldn't miss him if he were to leave the paddock. It'd make room for another Moto 2 guy to make the move up.

Was there really talk of Cal moving to HRC? Crikey. They'd have to be off their rocker to give him a Repsol Honda.

Well kind of... the talk of Dani moving to Yamaha bought up the question of who could replace him and Cal's name was bought up.

I wouldn't say he was crap, the bike he's riding is crap. He did pretty well on the yamaha, but he's definitely not in the same class as Rossi, Lorenzo, Marc or Stoner if he was still riding. He's a solid rider and as good as anyone else outside those riders on the right bike.

The only person that looks like he might be able to break into that top 3 is Vinales presently, hence the interest from Yamaha.

Again, I don't really see anyone that looks like they'll be a top rider in moto2 at the minute..... There isn't anyone that looks like they're much better than the riders around them like when Marc was in moto2 for example. Rins looked good last year for a rookie, but doesn't really look like he's kicked on from where he was so far at least.

Maybe Redding on the HRC if Dani leaves, better him than crashlow. With the rides he is getting Redding will be a never man as well.

I think Smith will do well on the KTM but not got the little spark required to win a moto GP I am afraid.

Still take a gamble and give it to Kent :)

Redding wouldn't go back to Honda anytime soon. he has already had a HRC supported Honda and just couldn't get on with it.
he is glad to be on a Ducati.

Dani staying with Honda, as they say, he is the perfect #2 rider.
To small for the Yamaha anyway.

Kent isn't doing great back in Moto 2. I fear he will end up back in Moto 3 again

Vinales on the Yamaha,

Rins on the Factory Suzuki

Kent back to Moto3

If you can't cut it on a Moto2, no matter how dominant you were in Moto3, there's no point having you in MotoGP.

What are Cal Crutchlow's statistics for crashing vs races not crashing in motogp I wonder? I tried googling but couldn't find a solid list.

In 2016, he's crashed out of every race apart from one, where he scored a measly 5 points.

He's had 8 podiums in total, with only two of those being in 2nd place.

Certainly not the British hope we had all hoped for after his 2013 season.

Bit of a wet firework TBH.
