Hey all,
Just got MotoGP06 today after reading some good reviews of it, however, most of the reviews said the graphics were great and the riders looked stunning as well as the track. I only have a 28" WS JVC CRT with an RGB Scart but so far everything has impressed me on the 360 yet when I play MotoGP everything is very flickery and its all very badly aliased. Is there something i'm missing baring in mind everything else works fine.

I really cannot believe how bad it looks, more like PS2 quality than 360.

Seem's like a good game though, tough but rewarding just, the graphics do put me off a bit.

You have to get used to that i'm afraid. Its a great game but the tearing and slow down are poor in places.

That said it's still much better than the ps2.

only played the demo but to me it looks like one of the best games out for the 360 graphically, it really is impressive, ive only played it on HDTV, not sure what it is like on SDTV.

Pre Rendered backgrounds killed it for me, im mean ffs with all the hype they were creating b4 this was released id thought it was gunna be a show stopper but in reality it looks like a lazy PS2 conversion with a few added bling

Ok i thought i may have been a bit harsh with this so i d/l the demo again and found the graphics not that bad, i get very little tearing and the tracks and riders do look pretty good. Yes the tracks are very sparse but as allready been said the tracks are similiar in reality anyways. The pre renderend backgrounds still dissapoint me though :(

It's not just the tracks (although the ones i've raced so far are awful) but the riders as well, flickery, no detail to them, jagged lines going around the outside of them, same with the bikes.

Honestly ive not noticed thay at all. Mine seems very good.

Switching to playing it on HD makes a big difference as it does on most 360 games.

First played it on a CRT and wasnt overly impressed but then got my HDTV and played it again on this and its a totally different game, graphics are crisp, riders, tracks and bike are much more detailed.

Get saving for that HDTV

i thought it looked amazing when i had my samsung 26' lcd but it was very choppy i found. Now that i have it running on a normal tv it looks pretty average.

I was very disappointed with this on the 360. I've played on my 32" Sammy in HD and I think the graphics are average at best. The framerate is erratic and the Vsync is not enabled which results in quite bad tearing at times.

On top of that there isn't that much extra compared to MotoGP 3 on Xbox. I'm a big fan of the MotoGP games but this has been the worst one yet and simply failed to make use of the 360's capabilites imho. Definately seems like a rushed release to me :(
