Renewal time again and my comprehensive £250 policy with AXA (held for 3 years) has shot to to £310 despite being a mature driver with full full ncb no convictions etc on an xtrail.

I've used topcashback /various search engines in the past...can anyone recommend who is good now as quite a selection

Cheers

I spent the evening doing this last night. The best advice is found at http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/car-insurance/#comparison IMO

In short: Google, GoCompare, Confused.com, MoneySuperMarket, Direct Line, Aviva, Zurich.

The best of the comparisons were all within £20 of eachother (Privilege and Octagon the cheapest) as well as Direct Line, but to my surprise going direct with Aviva was £30 ish cheaper than anything else. Then to wrap it off Zurich quoted 3x that :p guess they really don't want the business.

Many thanks Joey for saving a bit of time shopping around

Aviva have worked out £70 cheaper for same level of cover plus I get a further £60 via top cashback.

Result:)

Welcome. That topcashback is a great find too, will use that myself later, cheers!

Grr, had to get a new quote through the cashback link which was £35 more than the old one only 48 hours later, so only £25 less with cashback. Still a saving though. Maybe they add a bit on to cashback quotes.
