Motor Legal Protection?

I've been purchasing Motor Legal Protection with my car insurance for the last few years but do we actually need this? Don't think i've ever had to use it but would be interesting to see if you guys actually purchase this.

Yeah it's the only add on I always get, sometimes courtesy car depending on the insurers standard policy.

You dont need it until you do, my last claim must have been in the 10's thousands, solictors then were only charging £180.00 an hour.

Like all insurance, it seems like a waste of money until the worst happens and you need it.

You can also get it separate from your car insurance sometimes much cheaper. I think I paid £12 for the year.
