Ok, the obvious one that comes to mind is the Moto GP series but having played the demo of the new one on my 360 I have come to realise it is too similar to 06, which I had for 360, to be worth buying. Are there any other games with motorbikes (enough of a motorbike aspect to be worth playing), things like TDU are fun for a bit of messing about on bikes but I want something more focused on bikes. Is there anything to satisfy my need, or a game with mods or something to add some bikes into it? Thanks.

Thanks, but I meant PC games (hence the section it is posted in lol). I played the demo of PGR4 and found it to be so horrible after converting to computer and playing the likes of GTR 2 and LFS I realise what a realistic driving game is. Although now I would accept a motorbike game that isn't a pure simulation I would like to avoid arcadey games with motorbikes thrown in as an after-thought. Is there anything out there?

Interesting thread, has no-one coined the idea of a "handle bar controler" like the steering wheel ones and an iconic game to go with?, suprising if not.

I've definitely seen handlebar controllers in the past, I guess they never caught on. Without an ability to lean I can't see them being that great though... a new use for TrackIR perhaps? ;)

You could always try any of the Motocross madness/MX vs. ATV series.

theres a little known game called Superbike Riding Challenge. now it didnt get great reviews but as a rider myself i loved the game.

For me the range of bikes on offer is great and they are all straight out of showroom bikes rather than race spec or the crazy motoracer kind of machines.

If you liked the bikes in TDU you should pick up this game it should be a bargin by now. Also the game is quite realistic in that if you use an xbox controller for windows etc you can use the triggers for front brake and clutch much like the real thing. For me its the closest a bike game has come to that sense of actually being on the machine.

Well thanks anyway I wasn't expecting a huge amount of answers just the odd game or two worth checking out. I have certainly seen handlebar controllers aswell, it looked so arkward, only way it works is with bikes games in arcades as there is a whole bike that can lean. I played the MX vs ATV demo on 360 and loved it but it obviously isn't very realistic and something about it just felt arkward.
