Ok, so I have recently developed an interest is learning to ride a motorbike, has always been at the back of my mind but right now I need something to do and this seems like a nice idea.

So, where should I start? I currently don't have a driving license (have been "learning" for over a year) but driving cars bores me rotten, oh and I'm 19.

So, what should I do? How do I go about learning and aquiring a lincense, also what kind of bikes could I ride at both my age and as a "newbie".

Any help would be good, I am completely clueless on the matter, enlighten me!

Thanks.

See if you can get a copy of Ride - July's edition - it comes with a 34 page guide for new riders and covers all the basics including what you need to do to get your license, reccomended firts big bikes, reccomended kit & clothing, hints & tips on maitenance etc.

If you can't get hold of a copy contact me through Trust and I'll post you mine.

You'll need to do a theory and then a weeks intensive course for your A license which restricts you for 2 years. After that your free to ride anything. Good first bike would be something like a restricted bandit.

The best school in Bristol is just around the corner from parkway train station.
