Motorcycle Engine Casings polishing

Hi Guys.

has anyone ever polished the engine casings on a motorcycle before? I have a 98 Bandit I am doing up and would like to do this.

Has anyone got a guide of how to do this? I have the alum polish and mops in the house.

Any help would be appricated.

Isn't the bandit engine quite ridged as well?

That's going to take you ages! A '98 bandit's worth about tuppence too, doesn't really seem worth it.

Think ill leave it then. Lol I wish it was costing me tuppence doing a rebuild so the bike will look like new with lots of new parts. Projected spending is around £1000 god I bit off more than I can chew

I polished the crank cases on my old LC350, about 10 minutes in (at the point of no return) i wish i'd never started

It was a proper ball ache
