I've made the decision that due to medical reasons, I won't be getting back on 2 wheels again. So, to scratch the itch, I'm hoping to build a Hayabusa powered kit car next year. Maybe with a TTS SC bolted on too.

The kit I'm currently fancying is the DAX Rush DE Dion MC. It uses common Sierra/Granada running gear. I rekon I can build a good spec one for around £15k including donor car and bike. I'll flog the rest of the Busa to make some money back.

I'd be interested in any other kit options that folk may have had experience with. Must be motorcycle engined though.

Why must it be bike engined, not a Caterham or something?

High revs, sound, sequential gearbox. As a biker, I want these things.

Don't forget that with a bike engine you now require a reverse gear to pass the IVA test; either a reverse gearbox or electric reverse.

Aye, haven't decided whether to go the reverse gear route or electric reverse yet.

or if you want four wheels, mev atomic:

Ooooh, I like the look of that. Kit is pretty cheap too.

I'm not sure that the power delivery of a bike engined car would be too strange to me being a biker. I can understand that for a car driver the thought of 3k rpm to pull away must seem alien.
I'll drive some different configurations and see what I think.
