It is inline with cars. Bikes are extremely polluting and with far worse compounds than CO2. Its bike manufacturers that need to come in line, before the tax.
Which Honda VFR produces only 16.5g? I simply don't believe those numbers.
The vast majority of bikes on UK roads don't even have a catalytic converter, so I think it's very misguided to suggest they are less polluting than cars. The best this can achieve is to put up VED for the higher emissions of CO, NOx, and HC from bikes.
