Motorola Atrix. About to click buy.

Before i purchase could someone give me a few lines of what the think of the phone? Reviews say its good, fast and it will last the full 2 years on the orange contract without fault but some people say the phone is like all other motorolas, they break after the first month, the phone is slow which is why they put a dual core processor in it, it uses up the ram very fast and it crashes a lot.

I have personally held the phone and had a brief 5 minutes use of it. It seemed good, music qaulity, touchscreen and camera was very good. Internet was fast on 3g (compared to my current contract with Vodafone on my blackberry storm)

My last contract phone was 24 months, then i kept same phone and got cheaper tariff. I like to keep my phone for at least 3-4 years so it has to last.

Do you plan on using it just as a phone or do you have interest in its other unique features such as the laptop dock?

If you 'just want a phone' i think the concensus is that the Samsung Galaxy S2 is superior. However the 'addon' features of the Atrix are receiving praise so should be considered.

i had intended on buying the laptop dock. i think its that what sold me. But i am open to offers if i can find a better phone.

Iv never really looked at the samsungs, but after a quick google that does seem quite a good phone! ill see if i can find one in a shop to try a demo off it!
