Hi there,

I have the Motorola E1 (iTunes Phone) and I absolutly hate the transfer of music to the phone. The software is one of the worst ever created (the phones and itunes itself)

It takes about a minute to respond to anything when syncing the phone with itunes. It is very penikity with want it wants and when it wants to do it. Ie I really have no control and itunes keeps doing this automatic thing. Also it wont let me put certain songs on for some reason?

Also I can only have 30 songs for some reason when the limit is 100.

Is there anyway I can do this manually and transfer the songs manually without having to use itunes or even the phone, just plugging the memory card into USB.

Thanks.

plug the memory card in using a usb memory card reader or fit a internal reader onto your comp. usb readers are only a few quid off the bay

lol thats one of the reasons why the phone was such a flop, that and the fact you could only have 100 songs on it, sell it now! an get something simple like a 6230i

well i am not worried about the limit of 100s is just its so so blimmin slow when transfering songs to the phone :(

I can't afford a new phone, thats why i got this one....nice and cheap so I didnt have to carry around an mp3 player and a phone.

you could get a decent phone with better memory card support for the same price as you sell your rokr (thats if you do it on fleabay)

Hi there,

It's been a while, is there any other software that has been developed. Preferably I would like to attach the memory card onto a card reader and transfer the files that way? Is this possible?
