I don't see what the fuss is with not having a hardware keyboard really. You cannot adjust the dimensions of a hardware KB and it adds bulk to the phone. There is also no landscape AND portrait keyboard on them, you can only have one or the other!

Edit: Locked bootloader according to Android Police as well, perhaps only on Verizon though.

Yes, it has the same pixel density and layout as the Nexus 1/Desire, it's not a phone for those who prioritise super sharp text (iPhone 4S, Sony Ericsson Nozomi, LG Optimus LTE etc)

Motorola have a lot of additional software to update, like webtop (replaced by the honeycomb tablet desktop?) and security etc. It could take 6+ months.
It's not a phone to buy if you want swift updates.

The Lapdock 100 is only $200, that's miles better than the super expensive 1st atempt. The HD dock remote/phone thing looks quite cool too

I imagine the razr's stock browser is somewhat tweaked though? ICS uses Chrome as its browser, I wonder how that changes things, considerably I imagine
