Other series limit the number of people that can work on a car in the pitlane. F1 should as well, if only for safety reasons.

Why are the wheels taken off/put on differently? I.e. looking at the wheel straight on, the front nearside wheel is the only one to be removed to the left.

Typo? to do with left/right handedness of a mechanic? Or something else?

The only reason I can think of (if there is one) would be so that corner is clear for the car leaving the pits a little quicker.

It's not even the front left that's odd, but the rear left. All the tyres are replaced from behind the axle, apart from that one, and my guess is that when the car's coming in, there's not a tyre in the way on pit entry.

Probably Mercedes. They had an opening for a technical director in charge of rivet heads.

Ferrari is the favourite amongst the paddock rumours, although McLaren have also made an offer for his services, presumably as a replacement for Paddy Lowe.
