The whole of the media world is commenting on the fact that Audis domination of Le mans is getting boring.

I've heard similar comments on the Drive Networks live blog of the race, read similar comments from the pistonheads columnists etc..

It might not have gone all Audis way this year had the toyotas managed to stay on track. But they didn't so in the end the audi 1-2-3 was inevitable.

Anyone tv crackling on the BBC everytime someone starts talking? Its doing my head in. Not doing it on any other channels.
 
Have you ever read those behind the scenes interviews of drivers on the formula 1 website? The majority of drivers, when asked who would be the one driver they would have in their team if they were a team principal, have said Alonso. Says it all really.
 
Yeah, Alonso usually tops most of the polls from inside the paddock.

I must say that between 2007 and 2011 I totally didn't get it. But this year he has outshon everyone.
 
the finest driver in the world is pushing things a bit though surely ?

If they'd said one of the best drivers on the grid, i'd not have an argument.
