The winner gets 40 points, enough for an immediate Superlicence which is the same as in F2, except the F2 2nd and 3rd places also get 40 points. The issue is the drop off after that.
You can get more Superlicence points coming fourth or lower in F3 than in Indycar.
F3: Bespoke Mecachrome 6 cylinder 3.4 litre naturally aspirated 380 HP @ 8000 rpm
Indycar: DOHC 2.2-liter twin-turbo V6 developing an estimated 550–750HP depending on the level of boost used and no inter-cooling systems.
