But yes I can’t believe the hypocrisy of Max and Horner banging on about Russell (still!) when Max did exactly the same thing to Lando the very next day. Both penalties were safety related, yet Lando’s outcome was infinitely more severe and might even cost McLaren the WCC.

I wonder if Max actually feels threatened by Russell, that’s usually the cause of his strongest reactions. (Much like any bully). He’s probably jealous of Russell’s ability to play nice when required for the cameras, FIA etc.

However..Russell is showing what Lando lacks, a pleasure in slinging the mud harder than the other off the track lol.
 
Yup some nice drama to spice up the end of the season.

When Max came out with those comments about George being 2 faced this and that, I actually believe him to a degree and can see it.

However I’ve just seen George’s response vid on instagram, and he too is spot on about Max imo.

Hopefully their new found lack of respect for each other continues behind the wheel over the weekend :D

Who do we think would win in an actual scrap between them ?

George has the height and reach advantage but is a bit posh whereas I reckon Max would play dirty, maybe resort to biting or something.

My moneys on Max, more ruthless. If you punched George I reckon he'd turn into the 'i cant believe you've done this' kid

Ok, i just said i wasn't fond of Russell, but this has put him up in my estimations! Props to him for saying this publicly.

He is right ofcourse. Can you imagine Max's (as well as Horner's and Marko's) reaction if the roles were reversed in AD21? Max would not have handled it anywhere near as well as Lewis.

Max is going to move to Mercedes now, just so he can beat George in the same car :p

Maybe this is just a Mercedes masterstroke at signing him? Lol

Just posting the quotes from George Russell... it's very relevant given how much some were slating GR after what Max had the first word. Like @Jono8 said, good on George for saying it in public. Can't call him two-faced or a weasel now, can you.
