How long do we think Audi give them to push them into the upper/midfield?

Unclear, I think. Audi have gone in with their own engines which suggests commitment despite the constant rumours of them pulling out.

Their drive lineup is actually really solid.

I'm not sure about that. Bortoleto is an exciting talent but still unproven, whilst Hülk is the very definition of midfield and surely heading towards the end of his career. Compared with the other lineups I'd not rate it that highly although I guess it does punch above their current standing in the pecking order! If they'd kept Bottas instead of bringing in Nico I'd rate it a fair bit more highly.

I want to finish on the podium doesn't actually mean Yuki thinks he can achieve it. To any driver a podium, or winning, in your home race means heaps so it can be understood why he's saying that. But let's not confuse ambition with reality quite yet until after the race.
A sim is a sim...

I'm not disagreeing with you, but Tsunoda said it during the closing ceremony for Honda's HQ in Tokyo, even the Honda execs were reportedly surprised, one even suggesting he might need to lower his expectations.

Who knows, maybe Tsunoda is wired differently and he and the RB21 will become man and machine in perfect harmony. This week is really dragging, I can't wait for the next race.

if RBR had swapped the liveries between the two teams as well as lawson and yuki, then if yuki did well and lawson didn't it would point to the livery being the issue and not the car!!...process of elimination

Love a good conspiracy. Nothing at all to do with the car being difficult to drive and Max just being slightly more capable at managing it
Firstly I don't see why he has any reason to simply make stuff up. We all know that no two cars are alike, we know that the first driver gets preferential upgrades etc. so it's most likely he's talking about that and is not technically wrong. This kinda of thing; https://www.planetf1.com/features/rb21-red-bull-technical-differences-max-verstappen-liam-lawson

I'd love him to come out with some real dirt on it though, just to keep the screws turning on Horner and co :D Maybe he will if Checo ends up with zero options in F1 anymore.

Really? Drivers and their camps make unfounded claims that their car is worse than their teammates is a long running theme in F1. Remember Pappa Mazepin strong arming Haas into swapping his son's car with Mick's as if it was the car and not his son being talentless?

It's not like your dad is going to say their son is a cr*p driver is it.

Whilst they’re driving for the team yeah. I mean at this point in time it seems fairly pointless to be making those claims.

Eh? It seems quite likely that they would given that it's no secret that Perez would still like an F1 drive (whether with Cadillac or any other opportunity crops up).
They're hardly going to admit that Perez was struggling with the car. Easier to make up some rubbish conspiracy that can't be proved.

Very impressed with Hadjar so far, Lawson needs to up his game and get ahead of the Frenchman pretty quickly if he has any plans to remain in F1 long term.

Tsunoda has got off to a solid start, it'll be interesting to see how his season develops.

Feel sorry for Doohan, hopefully he can get on top of things quickly.

It's like helmut marko with his ridiculous hot takes every day of the week

Don't remember Berger and Wurz being this outspoken, Lauda mostly made sense to me, Tost and especially Marko are on a different level to their countrymen.

Why is everyone saying Yuki is off to a solid start? He's 15th and RB adapted the car to make it easier to drive - something they didn't do for Lawson... Yuki is driving a car with more downforce on a track that is predomoniately high speed... its not a great look!
