Motorsport videos

That's very good, I'll try add one later. What is it, V8 supercars?

EDIT: Ok, one of my faves is this amazing overtake by Hakkinen:

Clash Productions has just released a six minute long trailer for their forthcoming feature film, TITAN. And while we know little about the TITAN project, or for that matter when the film will be released, what we do know is that Clash Productions has yet to disappoint. That said, follow the link for six whole minutes of endurance racing ecstasy

There is only one video required here - Villeneuve & Arnoux, Dijon 1979

We're lucky that the director actually stuck with considering this is:

  • French TV
  • The French GP
  • The leader, Jabouille, is French
  • He was driving the other Renault
  • This was Renault's first GP win and also the first for a turbo F1 car

Dunno what series this is from, I don't recognise it.

Its Formula 1 - Just not recently! (can't recall what year, but I'm sure someone will tell you)

edit:

Christian Fittipaldi Monza 1993 - according to the youtube page.

This guy has probably the best late 60's early 70's home produced videos on YouTube. Not all great quality, much of it probably of no interest but there is some epic stuff on his video's of future greats in their early days and all in colour. I think his stuff is fantastic and catches the feel of the time like few others I have seen.

Now this guy has some great stuff from the UK scene in the 80's, many of the races I was at too! His gem is the accident in F3 between Senna and Brundle where Senna ended up on top of Brundle. I went to every F3 race that season and this was a big incident back then and he captured it perfectly!

A very different view of the Ring

I have this on video, from the Shell archives if I remember correctly and mine doesn't have Graham Hill comentry. Not a quick lap as Herman Lang is somewhat of an old boy and he is driving a pre-war Merc but fantastic colour images and some rare colour of the Merc main man pre-war and in the 50's Alfred Neubauer
