Motorstorm question

Hi, does anyone know if I were to buy either a US or UK version of Motorstorm for my HK PS3, whether I would be restricted to playing people from that region, i.e. UK or US?

I thought that all PS3 games are region free?

All DS games are region free but you are restricted by game region when doing local searches for online players.

Last I heard it was done the game region, so you buy uk disk and you have the uk servers.

I bought the US game and I run it on a Jap console. When I played online I was playing US players though, so I dont think it's limited to the machine.

Thx guys, I know the games are region free, I was just wondering about the online servers but I think you're right this game will be locked to the region you buy the game.

Ordered the UK version so I can play against UK players, its a great game by the way, I had the JAP version but there's no online with that.

There is also one australian server on motostorm us version so maybe once the uk game is launched we should hopefully see some uk servers.

I will have my UK copy of Motorstorm tomorrow morning hopefully, I have a Hong Kong machine so I will let you all know the server situation, there's obviously a chance that the UK servers will not be up and running, however I'm hopeful what with the UK network online already.
