mould inside lens

Hi,

I can see some cloudy white starting in my sigma lens, doesn't affect picture or I could tell the difference.....

Is there any way to clean that or stop it from getting worse?

I think the price of a full rework by expert cost more than the lens so that would be out of the question...

any ideas?

Keep a few sachets of silica gel in with your camera gear (the stuff that says 'Do Not Eat' that you get with every pair of shoes you buy and some electrical goods).

If there's any moisture lurking in your bag that can and probably will result in mould problems. It won't cure it as its more of a preventative measure, but it should help to stop it from worsening.
