Mouldy Old Apples

I spotted these from the roadside on a walk this afternoon. I was in fear of being chased off by a few enraged wasps that were hanging around, but they left me alone.

The smell emanating from the apples was just like good old Scrumpy.

I think you're right tbh. I took my camera out with me and became convinced that I must take some pictures of something, whatever it is!

I like the first one with the way you have captured the light on the apples.
the picture Doesnt appear very sharpe though.

Well the subject could actually be a good photo. I think maybe slightly more light could have helped. I think maybe you could crop the first one to improve it. There seems to be a lot of nothing at the top. That being said, I'm shattered after going to the gym and my eyes wont focus

I quite like the first one, the simplicity is a refreshing change. I think it would work better in B&W. I had a play in photoshop and a simple desaturated and ramping up the contrast works well.

I like the first, but not so much the second - due to the crop.
