Moulin Rouge

I'm off to Paris with the gf soon, and she's wanting to go the the Moulin Rouge. There's some threads on here from 2006 saying it's overpriced, overrated etc, but I'm looking for the opinions of anyone who's been more recently. It's €100 each which I would rather put towards some nice meals, but if I think it might be worth it I'll go for it.

Nope, it is overrated. It's a honeypot for tourists, as is the Crazy Horse. Steer clear of them both, in my opinion.

If she's always wanted to do it won't she regret not doing so even if it is poor when she does?

200 Euros isn't all that much to realise an ambition.

Dead right, she may regret not going forever, go on spoil her, dinner (bottle of bubbly) and show for two is 290 euro.

She hasn't always wanted to do it. In fact she's never mentioned it before! Like all females she's just following a suggestion by her mother, who has never been.
