As the title says, is the game anygood, it's on offer with Steam??

Whats other gane is it like so I know what to expect if i buy it?

I played many many hours on Warband really enjoyed it especially when you get past the poor graphics.

I could be wrong, but doesn't this game(warband atleast) have a demo on steam? If not the next best thing would be some gameplay footage

I would check myself but I cant get onto steam with my internet connection. Unfortunately I can't compare it to anything as i haven't played a similar game. If you do decide to buy one of them, get warband. I dont feel guns really add anything to the game(added in fire+sword) and its quite easy to get killed by them.

The games graphics are quite dated by todays standard but its very enjoyable when you get into it.

Yes its great, play WARBAND don't bother with the original.

It's a fine example of game play before graphics.

It does need some thorough modding to really get good though. Finding the right mix of mods is the problem, in fact I may have to return to the forums and see if there's been any updates...
