Mount dd image

How do i mount a dd image using ubuntu?

Its always the way with me posting in this section of the forum, as soon as i post i manage to get something to work

I manage to mount it using this:

sudo mount -o loop, /home/beerbaron/Desktop/image /home/beerbaron/Documents

The dd image 'image' has no file extension for some reason

can i only mount it within a folder or can i mount it as an actual drive?

I was just making sure I was mounting it in the correct place.

The image was of a floppy disk for something i was doing for uni
