Hey guys,

I have just removed my Alpenfohn K2 heatsink from my old i5 750 rig ready to fit it to my new Haswell rig but I cannot see any markings on the base plate sock socket 1150?

It has markings for: 775, 1155, 1156, 1366 and AMD, what's up with that?

Many thanks for help!

You use the markings for 1155/6, the middle hole in the backplate and brackets.

The items list in the manual also details which specific bits to use for each socket type, worthwhile having a good look just to be certain. i.e. you do not use the square rubber 'washer' for 1150/5/6.
